National Star College create video to raise awareness of disability hate crime

A video aimed at raising awareness of Disability Hate Crime has been produced by students of the National Star College and Gloucestershire Constabulary. The video is now live on YouTube and will be distributed around various organisations in the County. The short film describes what disability hate crime is and how it impacts victims. It also contains short contributions from ACC Berry and Chief Crown Prosecutor for the S/West of England Barry Hughes. The film seeks to reassure our communities that the police are totally committed to stopping hate crime of any kind, that we will treat hate crime seriously and encourages people to report such incidents.
